My favorite foundations I have. At the moment.

So I decided to write a blog showing you my favorite foundations I have. These are not all that I have but just the ones I use the most.

*MAC Select SPF 15 Foundation: This is one of the first foundations I have ever used a long time ago. This foundation gives a nice medium coverage and can be built up to a fuller coverage. It is a water based formula with an SPF of 15. It is a matte finish. My color is NC45. It goes for $26.50
*Make Up For Ever HD Foundation: THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FOUNDATION EVER!! This is such a light weight foundation that is full coverage and oil free! This photographs beautifully and looks flawless in real life! My color is 155! One pump can cover you're entire face. It's a more dewy finish which I love because matte doesn't look natural in my opinion. This foundation goes for $40.
*Revlon Photoready Foundation:  This is my favorite drugstore/lower end foundation. Although it is cheap the product is very nice in quality. It's a medium coverage, dewy, and long wearing. This also photographs nicely. I would suggest this for someone who already has pretty nice skin but wants to amp it up a little bit and even out. Looks beautiful is applied with Sephora's airbrush foundation brush #55. This foundation usually goes for around $12. My color is 008.
*Too Faced Amazing Face Oil Free Close-up coverage Foundation: I was surprised how much I liked this foundation once I tried it, because I did not have high expectations for it.  This foundation will give you an airbrushed look. It is a full coverage foundation in my opinion. It is a thicker foundation as compared to the MUFE HD, but once applied does not feel heavy. It definitely reduces the appearance of lines and helps to minimize pores. This foundation goes for $36 and my color is Warm Honey. Only down fall with this foundation is there is no pump so I find myself always dumping out more than I need.

Foundations I want to try:
  •  Illamasqua Rich Liquid foundation
  • Chanel vitalumiere

Other foundations I love:
  • Givenchy photo' perfexion
  • Hourglass

Recent Mac Haul.

I just received my MAC package I've been so anxious to receive!!!

I finally got the Blogger's Confession eyeshadow in 'Jealousy Wakes.' This color was sold out for a while and I was worried it wouldn't come back in stock but it did!!! It's an amazing color. If you're a crayola crayon user like myself it's very much like the jungle green color! It's described on MAC's site as an Emerald green with teal and gold pearl! It's a very unique color, and I've noticed you can really build on the color to make it super vibrant!

The next item I received in my haul was a lipstick I've been dying for! It's called 'Girl about town' (amplified creme) and it is a vibrant fuschia color! If you've seen Selena Gomez's video for "Love you like a love song" it's identical to the hot pink lipstick she is wearing in one of the scene! This lipstick is amazing. I'll do a FOTD look with it shortly!

And lastly, I decided to try a new bronzer and I'm so glad I did. I went with MAC's Matte Bronzer! I love it. I use it more for contour on my cheeks and to shape my nose.. It is a deep color so I would not suggest it for lighter skin tones!

Sultra (one inch) Bombshell.

I think I fell in love with a hair tool.

My hair is almost as stubborn as I am and Sultra's bombshell in the one inch barrel version gets the job done. Whether I want more beachy waves, wavy curls, or a super curly do this will get the job done. There are so many things I can do with my hair with this tool.

The more hair you wrap around it the bigger your curl. You can also adjust the curl with how you wrap it around the wand.

This also heats up super fast, and gets hot enough for the most difficult hair, like mine!
This bombshell has made getting ready so much easier and faster! And the curls will hold all day!!

Everyone needs to start saving up and invest in this heavenly tool!
The bombshell also comes with a heat protection styling glove which is awesome too!

You can purchase this Sultra Bombshell at Sephora for $130 !

**The picture below is my hair from today that I styled with the bombshell. What do you think?!

Kat Von D Lock N' Load Setting Spray

Kat Von D's lock & load setting spray is my all time favorite setting spray. I like this 1000% better than the Urban Decay setting sprays.
This is applied the same way. I feel like this makes my makeup last longer than Urban's and I love the hint of cucumber in this setting spray.
I've noticed that it also helps with the oiliness I sometimes get in my t-zone.

This spray will not make your face feel stiff, or add any heaviness to the makeup you already have on.
Definitely give this a try. It's a great alternative to Urban Decay's setting sprays.
You can pick this up at Sephora for $24!
